The marriage of salty cured ham, sweet ripe figs, and creamy mozzarella is a classic appetizer. It looks stunning and takes less than 10 minutes to assemble.
Ingredients (Serves 2)
- Fresh ripe figs: 2
- Prosciutto (cured ham): 4-5 slices
- Fresh Mozzarella: 100g (torn into bite-sized pieces)
- Baby greens: 1 cup
- Extra virgin olive oil: 1 tbsp
- Balsamic glaze/vinegar: 1 tbsp
- Black pepper: to taste
Instructions
- Slice Figs: Peel and cut fresh figs into quarters.
- Plate: Scatter baby greens on a platter. Nestle the torn mozzarella and fig quarters.
- Add Ham: Drape the prosciutto slices gracefully over the ingredients.
- Finish: Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze. Grind black pepper over the top. Pair with premium Rosé or dry Prosecco!
